Since its inception in 1983, Harmac Transportation has upheld an operating philosophy of safety, quality and professional service. Harmac has maintained long-standing relationships with its customers as a result of superior service levels.

By the early 90’s, Harmac had become a prominent bulk liquid carrier in Ontario and Quebec. In 1998 Seaboard Transport Group proudly welcomed Harmac as part of its growing team.

Harmac was the first road transportation Partner Member to obtain Responsible Care Verification from the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC). Responsible Care is a voluntary commitment to safe, sustainable, and ethical handling of chemicals, practiced in 67 countries and by 96 of the 100 largest chemical producers in the world.  Harmac’s certification in this program is a testament to the care and effort that is dedicated to operating in a safe, reliable and professional manner.
